Option B doesn’t really update the visual type, it just refreshes data. So even if you refresh visuals on Dashboard1, the chart stays a line chart unless you repin the new bar chart.

A imo, editing the dashboard tile details won’t update the visual type itself, so that won’t switch from line to bar chart on Dashboard1. You gotta repin or use option C for the change to show.

C imo, you need to pin the updated bar chart again since the dashboard tile won’t change automatically if it was just a visual snapshot. Refreshing or editing won’t switch the chart type on the dashboard.

Maybe B could work if the dashboard visuals are set to refresh automatically, but usually, you need to repin the updated visual. Refreshing the dataset (D) won’t change the visual type on the dashboard.

It’s C. The dashboard tile won’t update automatically when you change the visual type in the report, so you have to pin the new bar chart again.

Maybe C, you probably need to pin the updated bar chart again.
