That way, the user can customize the workflow steps before automating any further actions with Power Automate if needed. This fits the "user can modify the workflow" part better than just firing a flow immediately from the alert. So I’d pick Change-Based Alert plus a Finance workflow component.

This one’s kinda tricky since it mixes Dynamics 365 apps with Power Platform components. From what I get, Change-Based Alert definitely fits for monitoring those record changes in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The other part that seems necessary is a Power Automate flow because it can handle running workflows based on events and is modifiable by users. Not sure about the ‘Workflow’ or ‘Business Event’ options here though-anybody else got a clear take?
