Actually, managing access directly in SharePoint is the key here since the documents physically reside there. Options B and D deal with SharePoint permissions, which is what really controls who can see the contracts. Creating or updating roles in Dynamics (A or C) won’t restrict access to the documents themselves because Dynamics roles mainly secure CRM data, not SharePoint files. Between B and D, creating a group (D) is more scalable and easier to manage than updating individual users (B), especially if the contracts team changes often. So, I’d go with D for better permission management in Sh

B/D? Since the documents are stored in SharePoint, managing access through SharePoint’s user list or groups seems more direct. Dynamics roles might control CRM data but not SharePoint files.

I’m thinking it’s option B here. Since the documents live in SharePoint, controlling the users who have access directly on the SharePoint site makes the most sense. Even if Dynamics roles are set, SharePoint permissions usually override when it comes to actual document access. So updating the users list in SharePoint should lock down these contracts properly without needing to mess with Dynamics roles.

B/D? SharePoint permissions ultimately control document access, so updating user lists or groups there matters too.

Maybe D is the way to go because SharePoint controls the actual document access, so creating a new group there specifically for the contracts team would help restrict who can see the files. Just updating roles in Dynamics might not fully limit SharePoint permissions. This way, only the contracts group in SharePoint gets access.

This definitely seems like option C since it's about updating the Dynamics 365 security role for that team only.
