Not sure about the SMB option either, so D is out for me. The question's about monitoring custom apps, and Meraki Insight is known to handle TLS/HTTPS traffic well. So, I’m going with A because TLS on any port should cover custom setups, plus C since HTTPS on TCP 443 is the default secure web traffic port. These two together seem like the best fit based on how Meraki Insight works with encrypted traffic.

D imo, SMB/CIFS (option D) is primarily for file sharing and not really something Meraki Insight focuses on for custom app monitoring. So that can be ruled out.

B also seems reasonable because HTTP on port 8080 is a common custom app scenario and Meraki Insight should be able to monitor that. So I’d go with B and maybe C instead of A since HTTPS on TCP 443 is the default secure port and more specific than “TLS on any ports.”

B tbh, HTTP on port 8080 is often used for custom apps and should be monitorable by Meraki Insight. E also fits since HTTPS on port 8080 is a common alternative to 443 for secure web traffic. A feels too broad with just “TLS on any ports,” which might not be specific enough for the tool’s monitoring capabilities. C is standard HTTPS but might be too restrictive if the app runs on non-standard ports. D is definitely out since SMB/CIFS isn't really related to app monitoring in this context. So B and E seem like the best fit considering typical custom app setups.

Maybe A and C work because Meraki Insight supports monitoring TLS traffic on any port, and HTTPS on TCP 443 is standard for secure apps. Options with HTTP or SMB don’t fit well for this.

Maybe B and E? If the app uses HTTP on 8080 or HTTPS on 8080, those ports might be what Meraki Insight can monitor. The SMB/CIFS option (D) seems unrelated here.

It’s C and E because Meraki Insight requires HTTPS traffic, and both TCP port 443 and 8080 are commonly used for secure web apps. The other options either aren’t secure or don’t match typical monitoring setups.

A and E, since TLS or HTTPS on port 8080 are essential for proper monitoring.

Option A and E seem to be key here. From what I get, Meraki Insight needs the app to use TLS or HTTPS for monitoring, and since port 8080 comes up twice (once with HTTP and once with HTTPS), it probably wants HTTPS on port 8080 specifically. The others either mention standard ports or protocols not really tied to custom apps. The question’s kinda tricky though, since both A and E mention TLS/HTTPS but on different ports, so maybe both are needed depending on the setup. Would need more context but that’s my best guess.
