Maybe B could be the cause here. If the sales user doesn’t have “View All” permission on the Product2 object, they might not have access to see all products, even if they’re properly linked to the price book. This would explain why only some products or none show up during product discovery.

It’s possible that even with the right price book selected and an active component, limited permissions restrict product visibility. So, checking user profile permissions on Product2 might help resolve this.

If the user can't see certain products, maybe it's because those products aren’t linked to the active price book used on the Quote, like in A. Permissions or layout issues wouldn’t block those specific products from showing up. Could that be it?

Makes sense, the component could be hidden from their view, so C.

A/B? If the user lacks “View All” on Product2, they might not see some products even if price book entries are active. Permissions can block visibility independently from price book settings.

A imo, if the price book entry isn’t active or linked to the quote’s price book, the products won’t show up at all. Permissions or component visibility don’t block product listings this way.

A/C? The sales user not seeing products could be because the Product Discovery component itself isn’t properly set up or visible on their quote page (C). Even if the price book entries are active, if the component’s missing or hidden, they won’t find anything to add. So it’s worth checking that before assuming it’s a price book issue.

A, because without an active price book entry, products won’t appear in the catalog.

It’s A because without active price book entries, products won’t show regardless of permissions.

A imo, the main blocker is usually if the products aren’t linked to the active price book used on the Quote. Even with correct permissions, if there’s no active price book entry, those products won’t show up in Product Discovery. Permissions matter, but first you gotta confirm the price book setup matches the Quote.

Makes sense to check permissions here; if they don’t have "View All" on Product2, that could definitely block products from showing, even if price books are correct. So I’m going with B.

A/B? If the price book is right but products still don’t show, maybe it’s a permission issue with Product2 visibility. Without View All, users might not see certain products regardless of price book entries.

Looks like option A makes the most sense—products need to be linked to an active price book matching the Quote’s price book. Without that, they won’t show up.
